HERE COMES THE BRIDE, all dressed in white…and blue and METALLIC AND PINK
A beautiful white gown, a twinkling diamond ring, a tall dark and handsome, and an unbelievable vacation; the expectations you have as a little girl when you think of your wedding day - or at least the expectations I had for myself. Were these exceeded? Absolutely, and in every category. I am blessed to say I had my fairytale beginning.
Let’s go to the beach - each let’s go get a wave
Summer. We love her. The only season we refer to as vacation. The nights are warm, the beaches are full, the skies are clear of all but our gorgeous smog... it truly is the best time of the year.
Creating the First and Last Impression
The entryway is the threshold to the home. Its presence immediately sets the tone for what can be expected as you make your way through the halls and rooms that follow. It can be a large, commanding space with high ceilings and stunning chandeliers, or it can be a quaint corner with a single chair and a few framed photos. Either are just as significant to each other in making a statement that lasts.
UNIQUE PLACES TO ADD PAINT COLOR
Nothing refreshes a room quite like a fresh coat of paint. And although your walls get the most attention when painting a room, there are many overlooked areas in your home that can be brightened up with a splash of color. Whether you’re looking to paint an entire wall or add subtle hints of color to perk up your living space, we’ve got you covered.
“I prefer to live life in color”
There is nothing more impactful on our emotions than color. We all know how a rainy day affects us, we are immersed in shades of grey, clouds, darkness…the world feels dull and bleak. Everything changes when the skies clear, the sun comes out, and the flowers bloom; we feel calm and lively. After a year spent indoors, I think it’s safe to speak on behalf of everyone when I say never have we appreciated the outside world more than we do now.
Beige is back, back again. Beige is back, tell a friend
Out with the old, and in with the… old! We really thought we saw the last of our friend, Beige, but after a seemingly unpredictable, unexpected, and somber year, we are ready to say good riddance to the cold shades of grey and bring back some warmth into our lives. Beige is the neutral that keeps on giving. It can be a clean backdrop, a timeless furnishing, or a natural aura added to a space to stay classy, soft, and grounded.
“…Invites us to take a moment to reflect and reset.”
Tranquility, elegance, and comfort; three things we crave as we enter the new year and three words that come to mind when we gaze upon Benjamin Moore’s 2021 color of the year, Aegean Teal. What might first be seen as a cool shade, actually is a sense of warmth without needing the often-used hues of red, orange, and yellow.
You used to live without them, now you can’t
We are all excited to leave 2020 in the rear-view mirror. With that being said, there are a few things I’ve become so dependent on this year I truly can’t imagine life without them.
“Why aren’t we flying? ‘Cause getting there is half the fun!” -Clark Griswold
Ah yes, the love-hate relationship we will never get out of; road-tripping. The holidays are meant for traveling to see loved ones but due to the germs, some of us may bite the bullet and hop in the car to avoid flying.

Putting the “POW” in Powder
The powder room: a toilet room for your guests. How bland does that sound? Do you want your guests to walk into a room with a toilet and only notice the toilet? Or do you want them to be able to admire what’s around them and truly feel like they are a guest in your house?
